Por que Noruega igual tiene power metal, bueno aquí promocionando esta banda, que de power tiene muy poco, es casi netamente tras, se parece un poco a los primeros trabajos de Nevermore, con canciones poderosas y cortes rápidos..

Stormwarrior

Banda alemana que predican la palabra del metal, esta es una banda de esas que no se comercializan ni han transado su música hasta ahora. Con un sonido limpio y potente, con cierta similitud con las antiguas bandas de power metal de Alemania.

Este acercamiento al power actual hace también que al tener un vocalista como Thunder Axe (Lars Ramcke) que es clavadito a Kai Hansen algunas canciones parezcan extraídas de “Somewhere out in space” de Gamma Ray, basta escuchar “Ragnarök” para saber de qué hablamos. En el decálogo de Stormwarrior la parte más épica y en consonancia con sus textos vikingos bebe del epítome de la oda nórdica, el añorado Quorthon y sus Bathory de “Hammerheart” o “Blood on ice”. Hasta de un título como “The revenge of Asa lande” o el atmosférico inicio de “Lion of the northe” (aunque luego pega un cambio de velocidad) se puede deducir sin dificultad.

Disco excelente, con algo que le faltaba hace mucho a la banda, renovación, puesto que en los últimos trabajos "black sun" , el "devil ground" y "metal is forever", les había pasado lo mismo que a casi a todas las bandas power, cayeron en la repetitividad, pero aquí demuestran con creces que tienen el talento para hacer cosas mejores, aparte que en la cancion fighting the darkness cuentan con la colaboración de Simone (wachita rica).

en fin un excelente disco, sin dura con el llamaran a nuevos fans a escucharlos.

Grave Digger es una banda alemana de heavy metal, pero yo la clasifico mas dentro de un power/Speedy, mas que heavy, fue formada en 1980 por Chris Boltendahl. A pesar de los grandes trabajos que tienen y su larga trayectoria siempre han estado como en la segunda división del metal Alemán junto con Rage otra gran banda.
